Stormy Days

The last couple of weeks have been full of them and not the type brought about by the weather.  Kai is autistic, most of the time he functions ok, not great but ok and we have smiles and lots of help around the house and at school, but about once a year we get a period of stormy days.  The chores do not get done, chairs fly and people have been bitten, usually it starts the first couple of weeks of school but this year it is later than others.  I have had to leave work multiple times in the last couple of weeks to pick him up from school.  I have met with the teachers and the emails between us fly on a daily basis.  I can only hope since I got his haircut on Tuesday that we are nearing the end of the storm.  Do not ask me what haircuts have to do with behavior but for some reason I find that there is a coorelation there.  I made this LO because I love that he is smiling in it.  I can only hope that those smiles that light up the room return soon.

November Gratititude LO-I have to confess that I did not take this picture but I saw it on a blog and printed it out when I was looking for pictures to show the girls what the area around Park City and Heber City looked like.  Here is the link to the photographers website I only wish I was as talented as he is.Photo

  3. I hope the storm passes quickly. My little brother has Tourette's and we always thought cutting his hair seemed to help bring calm, too. I hope it's true in your case. I am a classmate from Blogging for Scrapbookers.
